The Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has set a new UEFA Champions League record with the fastest hat-trick in the history of Europe's premier club competition.
The Egyptian player distinguished himself three times in a match of the 4th round of the group stage against Glasgow Rangers.
In 6 minutes and 12 seconds he scored three goals against the Scots. And the meeting itself, held at Enfield Stadium, ended 7-1 in favour of Liverpool.
The previous record belonged to French Lyon's Bafetimbi Gomis, who scored three goals in eight minutes against Dinamo Zagreb 11 years ago.
